Arthur Ashe was an elegant force to be reckoned with. The first Black man to win a Grand Slam in the world of tennis, a civil rights activist, health awareness educator, and Emmy-Award winning writer, we're celebrating Ashe's achievements in observance of Black History Month in the US, in collaboration with The Youth Company and TBWA Chiat NY. A mixed media project, this short film is an homage to Arthur's unique style, on and off court. Combining voice recordings, photographs, and archival footage, the film celebrates his life and honours his enduring legacy.
